"Censure of Dellums Urged."
New York Times, May 8, 1971, p. 11.
This story, out of Washington, reads:
"Clay Claiborne, national director of a group called the Black Silent Majority Committee,
urged the House today to censure Representative Ronald V. Dellums, Democrat of California for
his support of recent antiwar demonstrations. A spokesman for Mr. Dellums, who is black,
dismissed the committee as a Republican front organization and asked, "Who is the black
silent majority?"
