"'No Regrets' Says Eartha Kitt." (March 1968). Sepia, 17(3), p. 78-79.

African-American actress Eartha Kitt, while attending a White House function, criticized President Johnson and the War in Vietnam by stating that the War resulted in increased crime. Apparently, young people turned to crime in order to avoid the possibility of being drafted. Sepia criticized Kitt for her coddling of "coward" draft dodgers.
