"Black people see the greater need to deal with racism here, before Vietnam, ecology or
Cambodia." So said a Reginald Wilson, a 19 year old African-American, in an apparent reversal
of seeing the two struggles as interrelated. Money concerns were raised a number of times as to
why not many African-Americans made it to the protest. Said one, "We are involved in a class
struggle and these kids are not in our class."
